A weary Dr. Farag was stopped at the door of a hospital room by this patient’s question: "Doctor, did you... did you even realize another doctor just asked me the same things? Fifteen minutes ago, while I am lying here, hurting?" The question struck a chord deep within Dr. Farag. It wasn't just the physical pain the patient endured, but the emotional toll of feeling unseen, unheard, like a cog in a machine. A chilling realization dawned. Healthcare providers, caught in a cycle of repetitive tasks, were failing to truly connect with their patients. Patients, in turn, suffered the frustration of fragmented care – inaccessible services, delayed appointments, wasted time, and a constant shuffle between medical facilities. Dr. Farag saw the burden this placed not just on patients and providers, but on the entire healthcare system. Inefficiencies created a financial strain on insurance companies, a ripple effect that ultimately hindered the delivery of the very care patients needed most – personalized, timely attention.
